Daphne Middle School, located on the corner of County Road 13 and Whispering Pines Road, serves public school students in grades 7-8. Built in 1993, the facility includes a natural wetland on campus that enhances the beauty of the school setting. High expectations and an emphasis on respect, reliability and responsibility are hallmarks of the academic program at DMS. Numerous interest and service club opportunities – as well as a broad sports program – are offered.

What to expect at Daphne Middle

Daphne Middle School is one of ten schools serving middle school students in Baldwin County. Our school was built in 1993 and is located at the intersection of County Road 13 and Whispering Pine Road. We serve students in the Daphne Feeder pattern.

Dedicated Staff

At Daphne Middle, the staff is dedicated to our students educational careers.

Activities

A wide assortment of clubs, community events, and activities are available for student participation.

Athletics

Students can participate in a wide variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, and football.

Fine Arts

The DMS band is a featured performer at district and area concerts, and the DMS art students are selected to participate in local and state competitions.

2026 Summer Feeding Information

Food and Nutrition Services of USDA (FNS) requires schools to conduct SFSP outreach before the end of the academic year to ensure eligible families are informed about the availability and locations of summer meals (7 CFR 210.12(d)(2)).
