Daphne Middle School’s faculty has chosen Regina Boone as the 2011-12 teacher of the year.  Mrs. Boone is an AMSTI certified 8^th grade Pre-Algebra teacher.  She serves as the chairman of the math department and is the RTI team leader for DMS.  She also is a member of the Building Leadership Team.  Mrs. Boone has been teaching for 19 years.  On hand to congratulate Mrs. Boone were the following students:  Kirsten Mitchell, Sophia Jabbia, Mrs. Regina Boone, Carey Le, La’Shaunda James, Avery Jensen, Sage Thibodeaux, Grayson Haley, Allison Mount, Trevor Luckie, Daniel Haught, Austin Carney, and Brayden Keel.
