03/08 ANNOUNCEMENTS

COMPUTER ELECTIVE:  Today is Gold Day.   

FCCLA:  Club Pennies for Puppies campaign begins today.  Be the homeroom that wins a pizza party by contributing the most money to benefit the Baldwin County Humane Society. 

GIRLS & BOYS SOCCER: Game today home against Foley. 

SPRING PICTURES:  tomorrow, March 9^th.  Order forms have been mailed home but extras are available in the office.  You may come out of uniform if purchasing your portrait.  Your clothes must be appropriate...NO spaghetti straps, tank or halter tops, or inappropriate words allowed. 

DHS DANCE TEAM:  Informational meeting tomorrow, March 9^th at 6:30pm in DHS Cafeteria.

NJHS:  Forms must be completed and returned to Mrs. Pearson in room 220 by 3:00pm today, March 8^th.   

TRACK:  Practice will start today after school until 4:30.  Stay in 7^th period until 3:10, change clothes, then meet coach Madison at the PE field.  Your ride should pick you up in the teacher's parking lot.  If all your paperwork is not turned in, see Coach Madison today.  You can NOT come to practice without a current physical and insurance form. 

CHEER TRYOUTS:  Mandatory parent meeting Thursday April 8^th at 6pm in Daphne Middle Cafeteria.  Cheer Clinic will be held April 26^th - 28^th until 5:00pm.  Tryouts April 29th  3:30pm-5:30pm. 

SCHOLAR'S BOWL:  Team meet with Ms. Surrey in the front lobby after announcements this morning. 

MATH TUTORING:  Mrs. Kennington is offering Math help to any 7^th grader on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:15 in room 213. 

ATTENDANCE:    If you have been out sick, you must bring in either a parent note or doctor note and turn it in to your homeroom teacher. 

BUS PASSES:  No Bus Passes due to overcrowded busses.  Bus passes for emergencies ONLY, pre-approved by Administration.

PHYSICALS:  Baldwin Bone and Joint will be holding a clinic for DMS Sports Physicals on Saturday, March 27^th from 10:00 for $10.
