03/05 ANNOUNCEMENTS

COMPUTER ELECTIVE:  Today is Purple Day.   

FCCLA:  Will meet this afternoon after school to finalize Pennies for Puppies.  Please bring your own snack and have a ride home by 5:00pm. 

GIRLS SOCCER:  Practice today until 5:00. 

BOYS SOCCER:  It was a touch game.  They played Fairhope to a 0-0 tie, and got edged out in overtime penalty kicks.  The defense kept their streak alive of zero goals allowed through five games.  Coach Kinard is very proud of our team.  No practice today. 

SPRING PICTURES:  Are Tuesday, March 9^th.  Order forms have been mailed home but extras are available in the office.  You may come out of uniform if purchasing your portrait.  Your clothes must be appropriate...NO spaghetti straps, tank or halter tops, or inappropriate words allowed. 

DHS DANCE TEAM:  Informational Meeting March 9^th at 6:30pm in DHS Cafeteria.

NJHS:  Applications are available from Mrs. Pearson or the office.  Forms must be completed and returned to Mrs. Pearson in room 220 by 3:00pm Monday, March 8^th.   

TRACK:  Practice will start Monday, March 8^th , after school until 4:30.  You must have a physical and insurance form turned in to participate.  If you did not receive a newsletter, when you signed up, you may pick one up in Ms. Madison's room 206. 

CHEER TRYOUTS:  Mandatory parent meeting Thursday April 8^th at 6pm in Daphne Middle Cafeteria.  Cheer Clinic will be held April 26^th - 28^th until 5:00pm.  Tryouts April 29th  3:30pm-5:30pm. 

MATH TUTORING:  Mrs. Kennington is offering Math help to any 7^th grader on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:15 in room 213. 

ATTENDANCE:    If you have been out sick, you must bring in either a parent note or doctor note and turn it in to your homeroom teacher. 

BUS PASSES:  No Bus Passes due to overcrowded busses.  Bus passes for emergencies ONLY, pre-approved by Administration.

PHYSICALS:  Baldwin Bone and Joint will be holding a clinic for DMS Sports Physicals on Saturday, March 27^th from 10:00 for $10.
