On Thursday, October 6th, the Sports Authority of Thailand visited Coach Nancy Woodham's 7th period physical education class.  The visit was coordinated by the United States Sports Academy.

One of the goals for the ambassadors from Thailand was to observe an American physical education class.  At the beginning of their visit, they observed the class warming up, as well as playing short matches of volleyball and basketball.  In addition to observing, several of the visitors jumped in and participated with the games.

Mr. Woradanu Jiradechakul, Director of the Chiang Mai Elite Sports Center in Thailand even shared a popular game with the students.  It was a game where one student chased another student while the others watched.  It was also a game of concentration and attention because everyone had to pay attention because at any moment they could become the one being chased.

Alexis Butts, DMS student said that her favorite part of the visit was "probably the confusion of this fun game."

After playing the game, there was a period of questions and answers for the visitors so that they would have a better understanding of the day to day activities of the physical education class.
